Charming Berlin wool work depicting a West Highland terrier in its dog house. Dog has glass eyes and the fur is a hooked and sheared wool "plushwork" construction. 12 stitches per inch.


Part of Glee's collection for over 50 years. Displayed in the front entry hall greeting guests all those years.

Frame: 12.5" x 17.5" x 1.5"


CONDITION:

Wool work in very good condition. Period mending to several spots in ground. Glass eyes have surface wear. Back edge of bottom side of frame has split in wood.


** Not conservation mounted - there is a wave to the ground fabric, beneath dog, from not being pulled tight.
