Stamped brass upper body of detailed feathers and plain lower body. Traces of the original painted feathers on the lower body still remain. Iron C-clamp with pierced hole thumbscrew. Underside of ball cup is marked: "Patented Feb. 15. 1853", by Charles Waterman in Meriden, CT.
