Charming beaded (16 beads / inch) needle book with bead work on each side, worked by M.D.W. Featuring 3 architectural structures on one side, and initials with floral pattern on ther other. Netted bead work done on a linen canvas ground, and finished with silk crepe de chine around a cardboard and wool box construction. Pale beige interior, with cream silk pages. Card and wool filling. Inscription can just be made out where pins have been removed. _______ and OAHU?? Part of Glee's collection for 45+ years.

Bead loss around edges on both sides, and within 3 rows of building. Wear and foxing to silk ground on interior and around sides. Pin hole wear along sides. Seam stitching loss on one side.
