Unusual beaded needlework landscape worked on bristol board. The initials C.D.M. and the numerals 12. / 7.° / 1.8.8.9. are rendered in three colors of silk thread.
A very English landscape scene with church, dynamic greenery, and a small lake with figure fishing.
Original frame with period bubble glass.

CONDITION:
Very good overall. No bead loss. No tears or holes in perforated paper ground. Slight darkening to ground around date and bottom of panel. Not conservation mounted. Cracks in surface decoration of gilded frame.
