Rare one-of-a-kind hand carved and hand formed needlework hoop on stand. Rectangular base features fine wood veneers of various shades and grain types in perfectly pieced marquetry. Bentwood hoop swivels on top of sculptural hand carved upright supports. Unsigned.
CONDITION: Overall, very good. Some spotting to marquetry. Two cracks on bottom of inner hoop. Mild expansion to small central portion of marquetry.
