19th century make-do pincushion made with the base of a molded and blown glass candlestick. Covered with red and black wool, and embroidered with wool yarn. Charming strawberries within a strawberry motif.
CONDITION: Wear to wool with small holes in fine black wool, and larger holes in heavier weave red wool. Chips to two bottom corners of glass base.
