19th century make-do pincushion made with the base of a molded and blown glass candlestick. Covered with a dusty rose silk, and hand embroidered in silk thread, with wonderful french knots "seeds" and running stitch "leaves".
CONDITION: Discoloration and spotting to silk. Glass base in mint condition.
