This charming wool needlework depicts a German long haired type breed of dog sitting upright in a lush landscape. Likely adapted from a Berlin wool work pattern. 18 holes per inch. This wonderful example is housed behind bubble glass in its original wood frame.

CONDITION:

Wool work in excellent condition. Perforated paper overall very good. Small tear at top above dog's head. Light surface wear to frame appropriate to age, with chips in corners.
